* As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and reviewing high-quality structural designs that meet Australian Standards and client specifications.
* You will lead small project teams through cost estimation, scope development, and technical delivery to achieve budget and timeframe targets.
* The role involves undertaking site visits to support audits, commissioning, and compliance across heavy industry operations.
* Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior engineers within the structural team.
* You will actively contribute to business development by engaging with clients, identifying project opportunities, and supporting proposal development.
* Maintaining strong client relationships and upholding the company's reputation as a trusted engineering partner is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately track time, goals, and reporting deliverables, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Structural) degree required.
* RPEQ certification essential.
* A minimum of 7 years' experience in civil/structural engineering, including site-based work, is necessary.
* Proficiency in structural analysis tools such as SpaceGass and Strand7 is highly regarded.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success.
* Prior team leadership or coaching experience is desirable.
