**ABOUT THE ROLE**
TAFE NSW are looking for talented Technical Assistants to support the fine arts and digital media teaching section based at the Hunter Street Campus in Newcastle. The role will require you to assist teaching staff in the preparation of classroom resources and in delivering classroom and laboratory sessions to support students.
To ensure the teaching section are supported in delivery you will be accountable for digital software updates, stock control and the maintenance of work areas and equipment. You will provide timely and efficient support at the highest standards of customer service to ensure that our educational programs are delivered effectively.
The positions are casual and offer the hourly rate between $33.20 - $41.46. For full details about the position please review the?Position Description and Information Pack.
**ABOUT YOU**
You will strive to provide high standards of customer service to internal areas and pride yourself on accuracy and timeliness to meet class and other practical activity needs.
You love the challenge of delivering results whilst managing diverse tasks and deadlines and have experience involving day-to-day activities relating to stores administration and stock control.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold a Certificate III in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of software used in the design and digital media industry, and the digital environment, hardware and peripheral device usage and techniques.
