About the Opportunity

The Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) is a national collaborative research infrastructure led by the University of Tasmania. At the heart of IMOS is the Australian Ocean Data Network (AODN) - a cutting-edge digital platform delivering marine data to researchers, decision-makers, and industry.

We are looking for an Office Coordinator to support the AODN team in delivering high-impact, data-driven projects that contribute to Australia's marine research capabilities. In this role, you'll provide high-level administrative and project support to the AODN Leadership Team, manage competing priorities, coordinate meetings and documentation, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications

* Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage a range of competing tasks under pressure and deliver quality outputs.
* Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
* Adaptable to an evolving workplace environment and able to deal with ambiguity in information gathering.
* Quality written skills to enable production of reports communicating complex technical information, along with strong verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated extensive understanding of project management principles, financial and governance controls, and risk/issue/dependency management.
* Demonstrated ability to use standard project management/delivery tools, collaboration and documentation tools including MS Office applications.
* Ability to foster teamwork and collaborative relationships.
* Ability to operate autonomously within the boundaries of the role, exercising discretion, good judgement and taking shared responsibility for project outcomes.

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116,872 comprising base salary within the range of $92,120 to $99,891 plus 17% superannuation.
