A rare opportunity has come up for a mid-level lawyer to step into a newly created Legal Counsel position within a major global technology & software group.
This is a multi-billion-dollar, listed organisation with over 50,000 employees globally, that owns a diverse portfolio of software and technology businesses and continues to grow through strategic acquisitions.

The Work
This role offers real breadth. You'll be the key legal advisor across a wide portfolio, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Work will include:
Reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial and technology contracts
IP, licensing and software agreements
Government and private-sector procurement
Leasing, insurance and risk matters
Supporting cross-border transactions and acquisitions
Advising on regulatory, compliance and corporate governance issues
Managing external counsel where required
You'll join a highly capable leadership team who value commercial advice, clear communication and practical outcomes.
About You
We're looking for a lawyer with around
4–8 years' PAE
, ideally with experience across any of the following areas:
Commercial contracts
Technology, SaaS or IP
Corporate / transactional work (nice but not essential)
You might come from private practice, in-house, or a mix. What matters most is that you're comfortable running matters independently, working with pace, and partnering closely with non-lawyers.
