Description
SAIC is seeking a Field Engineer to support our Joint Range Extension (JRE) program in Australia. JRE Mission Support is the first tier of support for the JRE system. They are responsible for interacting with customer, both over the phone and on site in order to provide them with the expertise needed to successfully execute their mission. This is an ONSITE role in Australia.
This position requires up to 30% travel
JOB DUTIES:
* 24/7 Mission Support and JTEP Technical Service Desk Phone support
* Return merchandise authority troubleshooting and resolution
* JRE operator/maintainer training
* On-site customer support throughout Australia
* Information assurance updates
* Imaging/reimaging JRE hard drives
* Troubleshooting ancillary equipment such as cables and radios
* Windows, Linux, and Solaris System administration
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors Degree and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience
* Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start
* Minimum of 2 years or Link 16/JREAP/ TDL, or equivalent experience
* Positive can-do attitude with a good work ethic
DESIRED SKILLS:
* 3+ years in Multi-TDL experience
* Experience working within JICC as a ICO, JICO, or military datalink maintainer
