Hoban Recruitment are sourcing an experienced **APS 4 Level Finance Officer**, to join our client who are a federal agency.
- Attractive hourly rate of $43.82 per hour including casual loading plus 10.5% superannuation.
- Located in Braddon Canberra.
- Up to 12-months casual assignment plus possibility of an extension, pending business requirements.
**About the role**
The Financial Control Branch is responsible for the financial management of the Agency and Scheme, and provides insightful financial reporting to enable strategic decision making.
**Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:
- Facilitating transaction processing in the systems to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
- Extracting and analysing data from SAP and other financial systems to resolve enquiries.
- Preparing accurate and timely management reports as required.
- Providing input into the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the team, including process mapping requirements.
- Working with key stakeholders to support various project initiatives.
**About you**
- Be able to demonstrate experience in a Finance function, ideally in Government or in a large organisation
- Be able to demonstrate experience measuring and reporting on compliance with approved policies/procedures
- Be able to demonstrate ability to interpret, analyse, and present data
- Proficient use of Excel
- Be able to demonstrate ability to work well in a small team
- Experienced in SAP (desirable)
- Must be an **Australian Citizen**:
- Be able to pass a National Police and Working With Children Check
