This is a critical role within our Finance and Payroll function, supporting over 1000 employees across a rapidly expanding network of centres throughout Victoria, Western Australia and New South Wales. About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for end to end payroll processing while ensuring full compliance with legislative and organisational requirements. You will also oversee WorkCover claims management and reconciliation, playing a key role in supporting our workforce and maintaining compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Process fortnightly and monthly payroll for 1000 plus employees with accuracy and efficiency
* Review timesheets, leave applications and payroll adjustments
* Manage WorkCover claims including monitoring, reconciliation and legislative compliance
* Conduct monthly and annual reconciliations including superannuation, WorkCover, parental leave and Single Touch Payroll requirements
* Generate weekly centre reporting for leadership and operations
* Support the Payroll Team Leader with end of month processes and reporting
* Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with Fair Work and relevant legislation
About You
* Minimum 4 years experience in end to end payroll, ideally for 1000 plus employees
* Experience using Employment Hero or similar payroll systems
* Strong understanding of WorkCover processes and payroll compliance
* High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
* Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast paced environment
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
* Accounting experience desirable but not essential
