A leader in battery recycling and energy innovation is seeking a General Manager – Sales & Commercial to drive its next phase of growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape and execute commercial strategy, build high-value customer partnerships, and scale sales operations across industrial, energy, and recycling sectors. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will lead a small team to secure long-term agreements and identify new market opportunities. Key Responsibilities Leading commercial strategy and national sales execution Building and managing strategic customer and industry relationships Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team. Identifying new market opportunities and partnerships across battery and materials recovery value chains Negotiate MOUs and strategic commercial agreements. Driving revenue growth in alignment with business goals Your background Bachelor’s degree in business (accounting), engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus) 8–10 years of progressive sales experience, including 5 years in leadership Strong background in recycling, battery, or industrial sectors Proven ability to negotiate complex deals and build strategic partnerships Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally overseas Familiarity with the Australian energy market and regulatory landscape This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a sector that’s shaping the future.
