As part of Victoria’s largest Early Years Management provider, we’re proud to support over 93 services and 700+ educators across the state who inspire, nurture, and empower young learners every day. We’re looking for a passionate Part Time Early Childhood Teacher who’s ready to make an impact every single day to the learning journeys of all children.
The fixed term commences on the 20th of April 2026 and will conclude on the 20th of December 2027, with the potential for opportunities to become available beyond this date.
Where you’ll work
Located in the heart of Drouin, Oak Street Kindergarten is an Exceeding-rated, dynamic, fast-paced service with a strong educational focus and supportive leadership team. This position is ideal for an Early Childhood Teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys leading high-quality learning programs.
Role Details:
Fixed term employment - 20th April 2026 to 20th December 2027 (20 months)
Early Childhood Teacher
Session times: Thursday and Friday - 8:30am to 4:00pm
15 contact hours + 7.5 non-contact hours = 22.5 hours per week
Shift hours: 8.00am to 4.30pm Thursday and Friday, with remaining 5.5 hours non contact to be arranged on another day that is mutually agreeable with the successful candidate

· Create engaging, play-based programs that spark curiosity and creativity
· Build strong relationships with families, children, and your teaching team
· Support and guide educators to deliver meaningful learning experiences
· Champion child safety, inclusion, and well-being in everything you do

What You’ll Bring
· Early Childhood Registration with VIT and recognised Early Childhood Teacher qualification
· Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
· A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and belong
