Role: Platform and Application Support Engineer (Oracle Cloud Fusion)Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contractSalary: Up to $145,000 (incl. super)Work Model: Hybrid (majority office-based) Role OverviewAs a Platform and Application Support Engineer, you will support, maintain, and optimise VMIA enterprise platforms including Oracle Cloud Fusion (ERP, HCM, EPM, OIC) and Pega. You will manage incidents, system reliability, monitoring, administration, and continuous improvement to ensure stable and secure delivery of critical business systems. You will work with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to resolve issues and improve platform performance. Key Responsibilities Incident & Application SupportManage escalated incidents and service requests. Provide advanced support for Oracle Cloud Fusion and Pega. Ensure SLA compliance and minimise downtime. Maintain reliability of critical systems. Platform AdministrationAdminister and optimise enterprise platforms. Perform monitoring and proactive risk detection. Implement preventative controls. Ensure security, compliance, and stability. Technical ImprovementConduct testing, deployments, and technical support. Improve incident, change, and release processes. Enhance system performance and efficiency. Support platform optimisation. Stakeholder EngagementWork with IT teams, project teams, and business users. Resolve issues and deliver solutions. Coordinate maintenance with minimal disruption. Support capacity planning. Governance & ComplianceSupport audits and access reviews. Maintain documentation. Ensure compliance with risk and security frameworks. Escalate risks when required. Continuous ImprovementStay current with emerging technologies. Improve platform resilience and capability. Strong Oracle Cloud Fusion and/or Pega experience (desirable). Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise systems. Experience with monitoring tools. Strong communication and stakeholder skills. Analytical and proactive mindset. Ability to manage competing priorities. Continuous improvement focus. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.5 years in enterprise application/platform support.Oracle Cloud/Fusion certification (desirable).Pega CSA certification (highly desirable).Experience in regulated/insurance environments (advantageous).
