Make a meaningful difference for people with disability by becoming a Leisure Buddy.
This is an exciting volunteer opportunity to make a genuine connection with a young man in his late 20s who needs a friend.
He loves a good chat and has diverse interests - from watching movies, music and dancing, cooking, sport, shopping, planes and gardening. He’d love a friend to watch or attend AFL games with (he’s a Collingwood fan)! Friendly, fun, and caring, he enjoys sharing good conversations and current experiences.
We're looking for a friendly, patient and compassionate male to volunteer - no previous experience required! Location based around Essendon and surrounding suburbs.
This is a highly flexible volunteer role with training and support provided. We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of 6 months for 1‑2 hours on a fortnightly basis.
Make a new friend, develop your skills and experience, and provide meaningful social connection to someone who needs it. ❤️
