Chemist Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team as a Laboratory Chemist. As a key member of the laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate fluid sample analysis by validating lab techniques and results in accordance with quality manual standards.
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive continuous improvement, conduct audits, and establish best practices as the Subject Matter Expert. You will work closely with the Laboratory Operations Manager to optimize rerun rates within Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

To succeed in this role, you will require strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. A tertiary degree in Chemistry is a minimum requirement, and you will need at least 5 years of laboratory experience, including leadership experience managing a team.
You will be expected to troubleshoot laboratory processes, perform root cause analysis (RCA) on reported quality issues, and monitor mean time between failure (MTBF) for lab instruments. Additionally, you will contribute to innovation by identifying opportunities for expanding product offerings and increasing customer engagement through process improvements.
