We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our transportation operations. As a Transport Allocator, you will be responsible for maximizing the efficiency of our truck movements and associated goods distributions.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to strategize and plan for the optimal daily usage of all trucks and optimal servicing of stores and donors.
This includes investigating and accommodating new stores and services into the Run capacity of the truck fleet as requested.
Additionally, you will maintain and update standard tasks in runs & schedules as required, change routings to accommodate emergency and other ad-hoc changes to daily runs as needed, and create runs that maintain benchmarks for pick-ups, drop offs and deliveries for each of the Trucks in the fleet.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A strong ability to deliver outstanding results in complex logistics environments.
* Proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong technical skills and experience using Workday HCM system, highly regarded.
