About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead new product development (NPD) initiatives and provide technical support across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is flexible, energetic and reliable.
A minimum of 7 years of food technology experience is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage product maintenance and identify cost-saving opportunities
● Supervise and mentor the junior team members
● Mentoring experience is required for supervising junior team members.
● Prepare and maintain:
○ Product specifications
○ PIF and CoOL documentation
○ SOPs and work instructions
● Provide technical support across production, operations, and customers
● Assist with troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives and SQF compliance requirements.
● Essential SQF system experience is required for compliance responsibilities.
Skills & Experience
● Minimum 7 years’ experience in food technology (NPD and/or QA)
● Experience in manufacturing sauces, marinades, salad dressings, or herb & spice blends highly regarded
● Understanding of SQF Quality Systems
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional employees
● Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure
● Strong attention to detail and adaptability
