We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Data Engineer.
This role is responsible for building and scaling data infrastructure that powers critical decisions and product features across our organization, impacting billions of users daily. The successful candidate will be a key architect and builder of next-generation data pipelines, transforming raw high-volume data into structured actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will have experience with real-time streaming data processing using technologies like Pub/Sub and Dataflow Streaming. They should also be familiar with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as version control systems like Git.
Additionally, the candidate should have a deep understanding of DataOps principles and automated testing for data quality. GCP Professional Data Engineer Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities include designing and building scalable data pipelines using technologies like Dataflow and BigQuery, managing data models within BigQuery for performance and cost efficiency, collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to understand data needs, and ensuring data quality and integrity across all platforms.
Operational excellence involves monitoring and troubleshooting production data systems, implementing best practices for continuous integration and deployment of data pipelines, and exploring and recommending new data technologies and cloud services to enhance data architecture and governance.
Qualifications
* Strong background and experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) alongside a proven track record as a Data Engineer.
* Experience with real-time streaming data processing using technologies like Pub/Sub and Dataflow Streaming.
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Deep understanding of DataOps principles and automated testing for data quality.
