Due to fleet expansion and continued business growth, Shadforth is seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic and Heavy Commercial Mechanic to join our workshop team at Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast.
This full-time, permanent position offers a chance to work on a fleet of 600+ earthmoving machines, performing major overhauls and maintenance across a wide range of plant and equipment. If you've worked in the quarry, civil, mining or forestry industries and enjoy tackling a variety of machinery, this is the role for you.
About you - Heavy Diesel Fitter
* Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate (essential)
* Post trade experience on mobile plant (excavators, dump trucks, dozers, graders etc.) (essential)
* Experience with Caterpillar SIS 2.0 and ET
* Hydraulic diagnostics - Essential
* Electrical diagnostics - Desirable
* Self-driven, reliable, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Hold a Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle licence will be highly regarded)
About you - Heavy Commercial Fitter
* Heavy Commercial Vehicle Trade Certificate (essential)
* Extensive Experience on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment (desirable)
* Experience with Caterpillar computer programs for parts, service systems and computer diagnostics SIS and ET (desirable)
* Australian recognised Trade Qualification
* Hold a current Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle licence will be highly regarded)
