Wind Symphony Conductor
Role Summary:
* Lead and coordinate the rehearsal process for our university's Wind Symphony.
* Develop and implement performance schedules to showcase the ensemble's talents.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, organize, and conduct rehearsals to achieve high standards of musical performance.
* Collaborate with staff and students to select repertoire that showcases the ensemble's strengths.
* Perform in concerts and events to entertain and engage audiences.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Postgraduate qualifications in music or a related field.
* Proven experience in managing artistic processes and leading ensembles.
* Expertise in conducting and performing wind symphony repertoire.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain successful internal and external networks.
Work Environment:
The ideal candidate will work in a university music department setting, leading rehearsals and performances. The successful applicant will have excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a passion for wind symphony music.
