About the role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused team member to support daily operations and deliver an outstanding service experience. This role is central to coordinating customer enquiries, processing orders and supporting office functions to ensure services are delivered efficiently and professionally.
The position is advertised as full time, however flexible arrangements including part-time or casual (minimum three days per week) may be considered for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
* Provide a professional customer experience across phone, email and digital platforms
* Prepare and manage quotes, orders, invoices and customer records accurately
* Schedule and coordinate deliveries and services in line with operational guidelines
* Process payments and support accounts receivable as required
Administration
* Maintain accurate office, customer and compliance records
* Follow office policies, processes and operational procedures
* Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory requirements impacting operations
* Support projects and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Conduct
* Communicate openly and effectively with team members and drivers
* Adhere to established processes and company standards
* Act professionally and support a safe, consistent working environment
Skills & experience
Essential
* Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar customer service and administrative role
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to influence outcomes
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a professional team environment
* Proficiency in MS Office, Xero and telephony systems
* Sound geographic knowledge of Adelaide, surrounding suburbs and regional areas
Desirable
* Previous experience in a sales role
* Familiarity with logistics, transport or scheduling system
