The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Full Stack Developer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Work closely with other Developers, Project, Operations and Architecture staff to manage collaborative relationships
* Analyse, design, develop and maintain user-focused software solutions that create and extend business benefits
* Undertake effective change/release management process for software deployment
* Participate in a positive workplace culture and environment supporting quality human resource management
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* While not mandatory, the following would be highly regarded:
*
o A tertiary qualification in an information technology or computer science discipline or a related field.
* Experience in a full stack developer or similar role.
* A sound working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) is highly desirable for this role.
* A sound knowledge of information privacy and related legislation in a health care context
* Practical experience in:
*
o MS Azure, including AzureSQL, SPA and Logic Apps. o Front-end and back-end languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, React, ).
* UX/UI design standards.
* Cl/CD tools and workflows.
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

The Digital Transformation and Research (DT&R) division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation opportunities, in alignment with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services Strategic Plan 2028 (G28).
DT&R is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery improvements to optimise Health Service performance. It also oversees strategic partnerships that help the Health Service implement alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, and driving improvements in performance, and innovation.
Digital Experience is part of the Digital and Information stream within the division. The service provides:
