Overview

Do you want to be part of an iconic project? Clough, in a 50/50 joint venture with Saipem, has partnered with Perdaman Industries on the Perdaman Project Ceres. This is a groundbreaking initiative to bring innovation and progress to the Burrup Peninsula, Western Australia.

We are looking for skilled Crane Operators to join our team.

Picture yourself on a 20:8-day shift roster, flying in from Perth to Karratha, and working on a monumental project.

As part of the Perdaman Project Ceres, you will contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art urea plant with a capacity of 2.14 million tonnes per annum. The scope includes EPC for civils, urea handling and storage, loading and unloading facilities, a water treatment plant, and a power plant exceeding 100 MW, as well as site buildings.

Who you are

A Crane Operator with experience in:

- Managing inbound freight, logistics, laydown, material transport
- Experience operating Franners and lifting 60 to 80 tonne
- Demonstrated experience working with construction teams, engineers, and supervisors to move and position heavy materials, equipment, and structures

Your role will include:

- Minimum 5 years operator experience in a similar role
- Safely and efficiently operating mobile crane equipment at construction sites where heavy lifting is required
- Maintain mobile plant safe working conditions
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections
- Report faults and anomalies with mobile machinery and equipment requiring adjustment, maintenance or further investigation to ensure continued safe and effective operation
- Adherence to established OH&S; policy and procedures
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery at all times
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

Mandatory

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- C6 – Operation of a slewing mobile crane with a capacity of up to 60T
- C1 – Operation of a slewing mobile crane with a capacity of up to 100T
- Franner, Dogman/Rigger tickets
- Construction White/Blue Card
- EWP, Working at Heights tickets
- Bridge Crane, Slinging/Rigging
- Pick and Carry Cranes
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Full Working Rights in Australia
