About the role
Reporting into the Property Management team, this full-time Real Estate position offers an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Ocean Sands Management Pty Ltd in Main Beach, Queensland. In this varied and engaging role, you will be responsible for the leasing and management of residential properties, providing exceptional customer service to both property owners and tenants.
What you'll be doing
* Securing new tenants through proactive marketing and high-quality property viewings
* Managing the leasing process from start to finish, including conducting thorough reference and credit checks
* Overseeing the day-to-day management of the property portfolio, including rent collection, maintenance coordination, and lease renewals
* Providing timely and professional communication to property owners and tenants
* Ensuring all properties are well-maintained and comply with relevant legislation and regulations
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
* Collaborating with the wider team to achieve business objectives
What we're looking for
* At least 2 years' experience in a residential property management or real estate role
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with Console and REI Cloud property management software preferred, though any system experience is acceptable
* A passion for the real estate industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
* Knowledge of relevant rental legislation and regulations
* A current Real Estate Licence or the ability to obtain one
* Registration level Certificate III in Real Estate Practice at least.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position
