The Opportunity Providence Medical, based in Umina, is seeking a superstar Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their busy medical practice/urgent care clinic. This important leadership role is ideal for an experienced and energetic Practice Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment while balancing people management, operational performance, patient experience, and business growth. You will work closely with the large team of GPs, nursing staff, administration teams, and senior leadership to ensure the practice operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and service delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the medical practice, ensuring smooth and efficient clinic performance Drive patient service excellence, patient retention strategies, and preventative health initiatives Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, rostering, and staff development across administration and nursing teams Monitor financial performance, manage billing processes, control operational expenses, and identify revenue growth opportunities Coordinate business development activities, local networking initiatives, and community engagement strategies to support practice growth Ensure compliance with policies, accreditation requirements, workplace procedures, and quality management systems Manage practice facilities, supplier relationships, IT coordination, maintenance requirements, and operational administration About You The ideal candidate will have managed a large medical practice and has demonstrated management capabilities, having worked with senior medical staff. You understand how to bring out the best in your team, support a busy team of passionate and highly regarded GP’s, and are results-focused. You embrace technology, are motivated and driven, and are passionate about providing outstanding patient care.
