Job Title: Database and Digital Application Professional
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Water Management Team. The role involves designing, delivering and managing secure and reliable data acquisition, monitoring, analysis and visualization solutions/applications for clients nationally and internationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for client management, technology research, assessment and selection, network architecture design and integration, commissioning, system and database maintenance, data analysis and visualization (Web and Mobile Applications). Work can be performed from either Hobart or Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop complex distributed IT solutions
* Manage and maintain time-series database systems
* Develop and implement DevOps tools in a cloud environment
* Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements:
* A recognized tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or Communications
* Demonstrated experience in time-series database systems (e.g. AVEVA PI)
* Experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Docker, Puppet and VS Code in a cloud environment
* Coding experience (Python, JavaScript, Campbell Scientific CRBasic, .net Core, C++, C#, Basic)
* Australian drivers license - preferably manual
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with radio mesh, p2p, or p2mp network modeling and testing
* Working with time-series, image and audio instrumentation, databases and data
* Database management (Aveva PI, Indicium Stack software experience a plus)
* Cyber security experience
* Microsoft Azure
* Windows and Linux Server system administration
