Microsoft Technical Team Lead - Service Desk

This role can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth.

This new role with a fast-growing Australian managed solutions provider is ideal for a senior technical consultant in a service desk environment seeking greater challenges and career growth. You'll lead a skilled, focused team delivering high-impact support to tier 1 clients. Expect engaging work, interesting customers, and a progressive workplace.

Your L3 service desk experience and leadership in MSPs, combined with broad technical expertise, will see you working closely with your team, internal service groups, and customers to solve critical challenges. This role goes beyond technical incident management—it's about developing team capability, improving processes like onboarding, and supporting the company's rapid growth across healthcare, utilities, government, retail and manufacturing sectors. You'll receive strong support through additional training, vendor partnerships and cross-team collaboration and your contributions will be genuinely valued and rewarded

You'll be joining a well-respected service provider with over 600 clients and more than 200 staff across the country. In this role, you'll focus on supporting a select group of top-tier clients. What You'll Bring


* Proven experience in L3 Service desk enterprise & team leadership roles an appreciation for the dynamics of working in managed services.
* Superb communication and collaboration skills with both customers and colleagues, especially in technical event management situations.
* Deep technical expertise & certs in all aspects Microsoft enterprise environments, O365, networking, desktop operations and MSP support platforms like RMM, PSA, NMS. A working knowledge of other platforms and technologies like AWS & Google is a plus.
* A commitment to continuous improvement—for yourself, your team, and the business.
