About the Role
As Assistant Director, you'll work closely with the Director / Nominated Supervisor to support the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the service. Your focus will be on:
* Supporting and mentoring Room Leaders and educators
* Maintaining high standards of education, care, health, safety, and wellbeing
* Strengthening relationships with families and the local community
* Supporting compliance with the National Quality Framework
* Promoting reflective practice and continuous improvement
You'll be part of a leadership team that values clear communication, mutual respect, and shared accountability.
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you:
* Have experience in early childhood education and confidence supporting teams
* Demonstrate strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
* Are passionate about child safety, quality outcomes, and inclusive practice
* Hold (or are willing to obtain) required approvals such as Working With Children Check, First Aid, and Responsible Person training
* Enjoy coaching, mentoring, and helping teams perform at their best
* Hold or be working towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
