About the role
As a Property Manager at OBrien Real Estate Clark, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties around Warragul and Drouin. This is a full-time role that will involve managing all aspects of property leasing and management to ensure the best possible outcomes for our rental providers. You will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the growth and success of our residential leasing and property management services.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting property inspections and coordinating maintenance and repairs
* Advertising vacant properties and securing new tenants through effective marketing and tenant screening
* Negotiating and preparing lease agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
* Collecting rent, conducting regular rent reviews, and managing arrears and debt recovery
* Handling renter enquiries and resolving any tenancy-related disputes in a professional manner
* Maintaining detailed property records and providing regular updates to landlord clients
* Staying up-to-date with changes in property management regulations and best practices
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in residential property management.
* Strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and landlords
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* A team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach
* A valid real estate licence or the ability to obtain one
