Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Sydney, Australia.
Responsibilities
* Forward planning regarding workloads and ensuring the required resources and material are available to meet demands.
* Input daily data into the asset management system and oversee the accuracy of the other technician's entries.
* Carry out corrective maintenance on all aspects of CAF rolling stock to meet production plan requirements and align with CAF policies and procedures.
* Perform fault finding and rectification using mechanical, electrical schematics and system data logs.
* Inspect bodywork, roofs and undercarriages for wear, tear or damage.
* Repair and replace parts as necessary.
* Conduct checks on brakes and couplings.
* Take apart, test and reassemble mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
* Write reports and update the Maintenance Management System to reflect task status.
* Record material movements.
* Ensure work meets the quality requirements of relevant railway standards.
* Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment while complying with all Australian health and safety, quality and environmental legislation.
Education
* Certificate in Electrical qualifications (mandatory).
Experience
* Previous experience within the rail or airline industry preferred.
* Strong computer skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
