About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our safety focused and high performing Heavy Equipment Maintenance team at our Gove operation. You'll live in the idyllic coastal town of Gove, with full relocation provided, working across our operations.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the site's heavy mobile equipment and ancillary fleet to ensure critical equipment is available to meet operational requirements.
* Perform breakdown response and in‑house repairs, developing troubleshooting skills.
* Ensure the workshop environment is well maintained and tools are available.
Key Qualifications
* A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
* Respect for others and an all‑inclusive mindset.
* Valid C class driver's licence.
* Relevant HME Diesel Fitter qualification.
* Experience in a workshop environment.
* Strong communication skills within a team environment.
* Flexibility within the role and adaptability to a changing environment.

Our Gove Operations have supplied the global aluminium industry with world‑class bauxite for over 40 years. With a workforce of 460 people, daily activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, shutdown planning and execution, export operations, cultural heritage management and closure activities. We are committing to a positive future for Nhulunbuy and the Gove Peninsula post‑mining.
