About Our Client
An established and growing business operating across the horticulture and agriculture sectors is seeking an experienced Regional (AU) Sales Manager to lead national sales performance and drive profitable growth.
Job Description
You will have strong agricultural and horticultural connections and have the experience to:
* Develop and execute the national sales strategy across core market segments
* Drive revenue, margin and market share growth
* Lead and coach a team of Territory Sales Managers across Australia
* Strengthen reseller and key account partnerships
* Improve sales force effectiveness, segmentation, and call planning discipline
* Own high-quality forecasting and input into the S&OP process
* Partner with Marketing on pricing, promotion,s and new product launches
* Embed CRM adoption and data-led decision making across the team
This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who combines commercial rigour with strong people leadership.
The Successful Applicant
You will bring a positive solutions & growth‐focused approach and be able to demonstrate:
* 5+ years' experience leading a national or multi‐state sales team
* Proven experience driving revenue and margin growth in a B2B or B2B2C environment
* Strong reseller, distributor or trade channel experience
* Commercial acumen across pricing, forecasting and demand planning
* Experience embedding CRM and improving sales processes
* A track record of lifting sales capability and building bench strength
* The ability to operate cross‐functionally with marketing and supply chain
Experience within horticulture, agriculture, trade, fertiliser, or agrichem‐related categories will be highly regarded.
