ABOUT THE ROLE
Working within our Guest Relations team, your role as a Guest Relations Consultant will consist of working with Travel Agents and directly with Passengers. From making the initial sales, booking flights, accommodation, transfers and upselling, you are responsible for all aspects of bookings pre tour. You will be required to process all enquiries and booking requests effectively in a fast paced environment.
As a valued member of the Guest Relations team, you’ll deliver genuine service to your key stakeholders, working closely with others, because we know we’re better together. You’ll bring a positive attitude, take ownership of your work, stay hands-on, and look for opportunities to grow and improve. Along the way, you’ll embrace change for tomorrow and celebrate the moments that make our team thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
* Making and maintaining reservations for customers and our industry partners via phone, chat or email with high accuracy
* Recommending additional add-ons and tour experiences to enhance the customers experience on tour
* Booking flights to package with our tours
* Handling complaints and booking issues as they arise to get a satisfactory result for customers
* Building relationship with customers and our agency partners to give them peace of mind that everything is taken care of and build loyalty
* Being flexible to adapt to ever changing situations as they arise
ABOUT YOU
As a Guest Relations Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional travel experiences. Your expertise and dedication will ensure that every interaction leaves a lasting impression, reflecting our commitment to excellence. To thrive in this role, you will bring:
* Travel industry experience or relevant qualifications.
* Proficiency with GDS platforms and booking systems, preferably Sabre.
* A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* The ability to adapt to last-minute changes and shifting workloads.
* A commitment to continuous learning and growth.
* A positive, can-do attitude!
