John Paul College, Frankston is a Catholic co-educational secondary school with a rich heritage in the traditions of the FCJ sisters and the Marianists. The College is currently seeking applications from engaging and passionate Guitar Teachers who will provide private and group tuition to our students from Years 7 to 12. The position is approximately 3 hours per week with the potential to grow throughout the year and would commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will have:
* Relevant music qualifications and /or experience in teaching or tutoring
* Experience preparing students for performance opportunities
* The ability to engage and inspire students in the instrumental and extra-curricular music program
* The ability to work effectively with students, parents and staff
* The ability to invoice parents directly
* A current and valid Working with Children Check
Please note this position is a contractor role and not classified as an employee of John Paul College. The successful candidate must have the ability to liaise directly with parents and invoice them for lessons.
