Protrad Personnel is seeking experienced Boilermakers, Coded Welders and Mechanical Fitters for casual positions based in Perth, Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in the trades and services industry. The successful candidates will be responsible for a variety of welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting tasks on various projects.
Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality welding and fabrication work to industry standards
* Complete mechanical fitting tasks, including the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality
* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols
* Ability to pass 4G weld test for MMAW and FCAW (coded welders)
Qualifications
* Formal qualification in Boilermaking, Welding or Mechanical Fitting, or extensive relevant experience
* Proven experience in a similar trades and services role, ideally in the construction, manufacturing and mining sectors
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
