About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent Administration Assistant to join our head office on a casual basis. You will need to be proficient in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook) and able to deal with the public in a friendly and professional manner.
Duties
- Phone and reception enquiries
- Responding to emails
- Photocopying, scanning and filing
- Maintenance of databases
- Matching and checking dockets to statements
- Preparation of correspondence and documents
- Assisting with Human Resources
- Liaising with other staff
- Assisting staff and other tasks as required
- Approximately four hours per day, 16 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Hours may vary depending on workload.
Selection Criteria
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft programs
- Experience in dealing with the public
- Experience in office administration
- Capacity to work in a small team
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in the construction industry
- Pleasant and positive attitude
- Williness to help other staff
