Christian Education Ministries (CEM) is a Protestant non-denominational Christian Education organisation dedicated to developing students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically, enabling them to reach their full potential and positively influence the world around them. CEM is committed to excellence in education, ensuring students are "well known, well loved, and well taught" by trained Christian staff.
CEM operates a growing network of 16 schools, including Australian Christian College schools, and 3 early learning centres across 5 states. It is also the largest non-government Distance Education and homeschooling provider in Australia.
The national office is located on the Central Coast of NSW (Erina). We seek passionate individuals with relevant skills and experience to join our expanding team.
About The Role
This role is within the Business Development Team, focusing on identifying opportunities to support and grow our schools, as well as welcoming new schools to our group to help them reach their full potential.
Key Job Functions
1. Identifying and researching new opportunities
2. Preparing grant applications and supporting documentation
3. Supporting system and process implementation to maximize potential
4. Assisting in the integration of new schools into the CEM group
5. Enhancing existing schools through project-based improvements
6. Supporting other projects and programs within CEM for effective operation
7. Other duties as directed by the Head of Business Development
This full-time position reports to the Head of Business Development, with an immediate start preferred. The salary will be commensurate with relevant education, skills, and experience.
Requirements
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
* Ability to build rapport and collaborate with school staff and leaders
* Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders
* Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail
* Proficiency with cloud-based applications and modern technology
* Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic work ethic
* Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
* Servant heart, vibrant Christian faith, and active involvement in your local church
