You can make a real difference in someone's life by becoming a companion for an older lady living in Darley. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together, engaging in various activities and providing companionship.
About the Role:
As a companion, you will visit her at least fortnightly, engaging in activities such as playing games, having conversations, or going for a walk. You will also communicate and receive support from your designated officer.
Requirements:
Must be 18+ years old
Have a genuine interest in easing loneliness in older people
Able to actively listen and engage with older people
Reliable, flexible, and confident to work independently
