Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by washing, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
Responsibilities
Load, operate and unload the dishwasher properlyWash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.Maintain kitchen inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels and anticipating needed supplies.Place clean dishes and utensils in their designated storage areas.Clean garbage cans and other kitchen equipment as required.Assist kitchen staffs in simple food preparation tasks, such as portioning ingredients, peeling and slicing vegetables, and other tasks as needed.Follow all standards and protocols for hygiene and safety as set by the establishment.Attend training and meetings as required.
