Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is looking for Calibration Technician to join our E&I team at Karratha for Perdaman’s Ammonia & Urea project. Perdaman, a leading player in the fertiliser industry with its corporate office in Western Australia, is looking for a candidate a to fulfill the responsibilities and experience as mentioned below.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
Diploma in relevant areas.
Experience:
•Minimum of 5 years in chemical, petrochemical, or fertiliser plant.
•Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting of assets in responsible areas
Skills & Competencies:
•Knowledge of current process analyser technologies.
•Hands on experience in working, troubleshooting, calibration and testing of Process Analysers.
•Experience with control systems (DCS, SCADA) and process control loops.
•Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, and Profibus.
•Hands-on experience with Fire & Gas control systems, preferably Honeywell Notifier.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication skills for collaboration across functions.
•Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
•The candidate should be willing to learn new skills related to area of responsibility
