CLH Transport is part of the Tandy Group and operates an extensive transport fleet, which consists of a variety of truck combinations including truck and dogs, concrete agitator trucks, semi tippers, flat tops crane trucks, tautliners and cement tankers.
About the role
We are seeking experienced HC Truck Operator to join our team in the Mackay region. This is a fulltime position. Immediate start for the successful applicant.
Key responsibilities
1. Operate and maintain Truck and Dog configurations
2. Deliver products to our customers
3. Be a team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
4. Comply with health and safety regulations on a daily basis
5. Follow verbal and written procedures
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively unsupervised
Skills and experience
7. Current and valid HC Drivers Licence
8. Current White Card is preferred
9. Qualified work ethic with a focus on customer service
10. A reliable team player
11. A high regard for safety policies and procedures
12. Previous experience driving truck and dog trailer and hold a positive understanding of Transport Industry
13. Familiar with the local Mackay region would be a benefit but not essential
14. Be able to pass a driver medical if required
15. Excellent communication skills
