Our Early Learning and Development Services (ELDS) delivers high quality childcare with a curriculum that brings together Ngala’s many years of childhood development research and experience. We focus on nature play, learning through child-led play and facilitate a free-flow indoor/outdoor policy
About the role
In this role, you will be part of a of a passionate team whose primary focus is providing a safe learning environment to children aligned to our way of working. As an Educator you will:
1. Build professional and trusted relationships with children, families, and colleagues
2. Participate in room routines, ensuring they are flexible, responsive and child focused
3. Provide a sense of security, encouragement and care to individual needs
4. Work collaboratively with room leaders and our educational leader to deliver high quality educational programs
5. Support a positive team culture, that is reflective and committed to continuous improvement
We have a Permanent Full-time position for a diploma qualified Educator at our Perth Airport Early Learning & Development Service.
Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30am to 6:00pm.
About you
You are passionate about children’s development and learning and have experience working effectively within a team. To be successful in this role you will have:
6. Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
7. Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
8. Demonstrated skills and experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
9. Valid WA Working with Children’s Check
10. Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
