We are currently hiring an Event Specialist for one of our Operations teams called Corporate Actions. This team provides specialist support to the project management team and our clients in relation to their corporate activity across the broad categories of capital raising, merger and acquisitions, dividends, distributions, tax requirements and capital management.

Many of our clients will raise funds via the equity market, disburse dividend proceeds, engage in takeovers, or use surplus funds to buy-back shares. This activity is often critical to our client's corporate calendar and strategic direction.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong customer focus, excellent problem-solving abilities, be solutions focused and able to work to very tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to plan and deliver project requirements within agreed deadlines
- Manage the dispatch of documentation to shareholders and or clients
- Liaise with Banks and Financial Institutions
- Generate client reporting
- Comply with internal procedures and policies as well as corporate legislation
- Use internal systems to manage key milestones and update internal and external stakeholders

**What will you bring to the role?**
- An exposure and understanding of different Corporate Action event types and/ or financial services experience is desirable
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and think outside the box to achieve the best outcomes for the business and client
- Project Coordination or Administration experience
- Willingness to learn quickly and be adaptable to a changing environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient in all aspects of MS Office
- A bachelor's degree holder or equivalent
