Your job, as Key Supplier Operational Lead (FTC) within our Procurement & Operations Team, will be to act as the local representative for our Virginia site operations involving our suppliers. You will drive efficiency, service, and cost reduction, manage supplier performance, oversee site financial performance and reporting, demand management, and Business Continuity. Working closely with Global Buyers and multiple cross-functional stakeholders internally, an excellent communicator who is KPI-driven and self-motivated will be successful in this 12-month FTC opportunity.

Main responsibilities :
1. Identify opportunities in service, cost, and sustainability in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including offsetting ‘Headwinds’.
2. Coordinate all site functions (DC, Regulatory, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, SMS) to implement savings initiatives.
3. Manage the timely execution of action plans related to supplier initiatives.
4. Coordinate E2E QA processes for supplier/specification changes, including Raw Material Evaluation (RME).
5. Act as the site’s single point of contact for all supplier operational issues, supported by Global procurement.
6. Drive supplier collaboration and innovation across operations with Global procurement.
7. Work closely with the commercial team to align M&S initiatives with brand strategies.
8. Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving to prevent recurrence of issues.
9. Lead Top to Top (T2T) meetings with key suppliers, ensuring agendas and minutes are timely.
10. Manage full site material spend, seeking cost reductions across categories such as raw materials, packaging, and contracts.
11. Own monthly reporting for financial cycles like Cost2Win (C2W) and Win With Procurement (WWP).
12. Coordinate with Global Procurement and AMEA M&S Project Lead during the annual budget cycle.
13. Evaluate and optimize demand versus market conditions, addressing risks with suppliers and global buyers.
14. Establish and execute Business Continuity strategies for Raw Materials and Packaging, considering costs, lead times, and relationships, in collaboration with Global Procurement.
15. Collaborate with Procurement Category teams, M&S Global Business Unit, cluster heads, SMS, Finance, legal, and technical teams to align on supplier strategy and site performance.
16. Participate actively as a member of the M&S Site Leadership team.
Qualifications :
Degree in Business or related field.
Experience :
* Procurement, Project Management, or Operations experience within FMCG or FMCH industries.
* Experience with Manufacturing & Supply or Performance Improvement/Transformation projects is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially cross-functionally.
* Commercial and financial acumen for reporting and presentations.
* Excellent negotiation skills and experience with supplier reviews.
* Technical background in Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, or Sourcing preferred.
* Self-starter with a hunger for learning and motivation in a standalone role.
* Action-oriented and KPI-driven.
