Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Testing Technician within our organization.
This position involves performing tests on systems, sub-assemblies, and parts to ensure they function according to specifications or to determine the cause of unit failure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production objectives are met while sustaining quality in a safe working environment.
* The ideal candidate will prepare the workstation with tools and test equipment to perform required tests.
* During tests, the candidate will check that the operation of equipment corresponds with the definition reflected in procedures.
* The candidate will keep and protect dismantled equipment for testing purposes and ensure proper assembly.
* Storage and cleaning of the workstation at the end of the activity is also a responsibility.
* The candidate will search for the origin of defects found during tests.
* They will resolve problems and/or report to the team leader any defects and/or incidents, verifying that the solution implemented validates the test.
Key Requirements:
* Possess a trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical technical disciplines and/or workplace experience in relevant industries such as Engineering, Automotive, Rail Construction, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronics.
* Able to work in a team environment.
* Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
* Experience with office management software e.g. MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically).
