The Company Our client is a market-leading mixed cropping business operating across multiple states, specialising in wheat, barley and canola. They operate late-model John Deere machinery and modern precision ag systems.
We are seeking experienced seeding staff to join their team for the upcoming program.
Positions Available
1 x Senior Seeding Operator
* John Deere 9R 590
* 33t Bourgault 9950 tow-behind
* 60ft DBS bar
1 x Machinery Operator
* John Deere 8R 310 with rock picker
* Progression to seeder (evening shift rotation)
1 x Ground Person
* Seeding support and general farm duties
Key Duties (Across All Roles)
* Air seeding and pre-seeding preparation
* Rock picking, deep ripping, chisel ploughing, Kelly chaining
* Boom spraying and fertiliser spreading
* GPS and precision ag system operation
* Machinery setup, calibration and monitoring
* General servicing and preventative maintenance
* Workshop and property maintenance
* Supporting planting logistics (seed, fertiliser, fuel)
Requirements
* Broadacre cropping experience
* Large-scale tractor and machinery operation
* Mechanical aptitude
* GPS guidance experience
* Ability to work extended hours during seeding
