About theOpportunity
The Team Leader, Customer Service is to provide leadership tothe Customer Service Team (CST) which comprises the CustomerService Officers (CSOs) and the Guardianship Liaison Officers(GLOs); and provide quality administration and support to theguardianship staff at the Office of the Public Advocate (OPA). TheTeam Leader, Customer Service is responsible for managing the CST,overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CSOs and GLOs, ensuringhigh-quality customer service delivery and coaching and feedback toteam members. The role is responsible for monitoring performance,delivering KPIs, managing escalated matters and identifying areasfor improvements to ensure the delivery of customer serviceexcellence.

The South Australian Public Advocate promotes the rights andinterests of people who need assistance with decision making.
The Public Advocate is a statutory officer. This means the SouthAustralian Parliament rely on the Public Advocate to make sure thatcertain legislation is carried out. In particular, the PublicAdvocate helps to carry out South Australian laws that relate toadults who are unable to make decisions for themselves, who are atrisk of abuse or neglect and may require supported or substitutedecision-making.

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificateclearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
