Support Children in Care Social Worker Job
We are seeking an experienced Support Children in Care Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and families, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* This role involves supporting children in care as a Children Looked After Social Worker, taking over cases from the Initial Hearing stage.
* You will manage court-related responsibilities without involvement in Child Protection or Child in Need cases.
* The role typically involves handling a maximum of three to four sets of legal proceedings simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare reports and attend court hearings to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to secure long-term stability and well-being for children.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Hold a Social Work England registration.
* Be eligible to work in the UK.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
* At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.
