About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate student placements for various disciplines and maintain relationships with relevant universities.
You will support the onboarding, induction, and field supervision of students and provide task supervision, mentorship, and support to clinicians where appropriate.
The successful candidate will also lead the development and facilitation of internal clinical education and training for our staff and agency partnership staff.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and leading therapeutic group Community of Practice, participating in research and evaluation activities, and working collaboratively to integrate Medicare Mental Health Centre broader workforce development plan.
Maintaining clinical knowledge and commitment to ongoing professional development is essential.
Requirements
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker
* Board Approved Supervisor status
* Demonstrated experience and theoretical knowledge in providing education and mentoring to students and staff in a healthcare setting/ workplace
* Experience and skills in providing clinical/ reflective practice supervision
* Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills
