About the Role
The Outside School Hours Care Service Coordinator is a key position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service. This includes developing and delivering high-quality activities for children, ensuring their safety and well-being, and maintaining strong relationships with families, school leaders, and the community.
Responsibilities
* Management of the Service: Oversee the daily management of the Outside School Hours Care service, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Program Development: Design and deliver engaging, safe, and educational activities for children, aligned with the curriculum and the needs of the service.
* Child Safety and Supervision: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of children at all times, adhering to mandatory reporting requirements.
* Food Preparation: Prepare and serve healthy food options for children, promoting nutritious eating habits.
* Environmental Creation: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for children, encouraging socialization and learning opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or equivalent.
* A current Employee Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain).
* HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
* CHCPRT001 Child Protection Certificate (or willing to obtain).
