As a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Institutions, Financial Lines professional, you will play a critical role in shaping the growth and profit of our Financial Lines division.
Key Responsibilities
* Underwrite new and renewal business across the corporate financial lines portfolio in accordance with underwriting guidelines, relevant authority, and company principles.
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new brokers to ensure visibility of AIG in the market.
* Assist management with reporting and contribute to implementing agreed strategies.
What We're Looking For
* A deep understanding of D&O, EPL, and crime insurance underwriting.
* Familiarity with key business drivers in the financial lines space.
* An ability to build and maintain successful client relationships.
* Relevant experience in the insurance industry or related field.
* A proven track-record in underwriting financial lines insurance products.
* Prior experience within a commercial insurance/finance/legal environment, including exposure to clients and/or intermediaries.
* Awareness of developments and trends in the commercial sector having insurance implications.
