Rebate Administration Officer Job Summary
This role focuses on ensuring the accurate collection of supplier rebates, playing a crucial part in our business operations.
* The key responsibilities include validating and improving the rebate collection process to ensure accuracy.
* Monitoring and reporting on supplier status as well as assisting with estimates, collection, reconciliation, and reporting of rebate income are also essential tasks.
* Coordinating with finance teams and providing data to support distribution among different business units is another critical aspect of this role.
* Working closely with Accounts Payable and other business units to ensure optimum rebate income is vital for the team's success.
* Identifying potential term issues under existing supplier agreements and flagging them to relevant procurement teams is also a responsibility.
* Assisting in managing a database capturing all important trading terms of rebate contracts is an additional task.
About You
This position would suit a finance or accounting graduate looking to take their career to the next level.
A minimum of one year plus experience working in a finance, reconciliations, and/or accounts position is required.
Advanced Excel skills are necessary for this role.
An eye for detail and ability to analyze data and provide reports and presentations for decision making is essential.
Helping to develop and manage structured, robust, and transparent key processes is also expected.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Business, Finance, Accounting, or Procurement, are preferred but not essential.
