About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this full-time Warehouse Supervisor role at Legend Products and Services in Loganholme, Queensland, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. You will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and resources to meet production and customer demands.
What you'll be doing
* Supervising and coordinating the activities of the warehouse team to ensure productivity, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures
* Monitoring inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing strategies to optimise stock management
* Overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products to meet customer orders and delivery schedules
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance workflow and operational efficiency
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reporting on warehouse performance metrics
What we're looking for
* Candidates must be Australian citizens only to be eligible for this position.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture
* Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse supervisory experience is required
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and implement efficient solutions
* Excellent attention to detail and inventory management skills, with a proven track record of maintaining accurate stock records
* Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with other Staff and customers
* Forklift license and relevant warehouse safety certifications are highly desirable
* knowledge of the swimming pool industry is an advantage
